SKOPE is happy to announce a new member of the Advisory Committee, Mr Graham Schuhmacher.
Graham Schuhmacher is Head of Learning and Development Operations & Services at Rolls-Royce plc. Rolls-Royce, is a global business, providing and supplying integrated power systems for use on land, at sea and in the air.
With facilities in 50 countries, Rolls-Royce employs 39,000 people worldwide and has businesses headquartered in the UK, US, Canada, Germany, Scandinavia, Singapore and China. This global presence creates his main challenge of delivering consistent learning opportunities to all employees.
Graham joined Rolls-Royce in the 1970’s working in Development Engineering before joining the Learning and Development function.
Graham is Chair of SEMTA’s Apprentice Framework Committee, a member of the EEF Education and Skills Strategy Group and a member of Derby College Board. He has worked with the LSC on Skills and Apprenticeship projects in the past.
